The Backrooms: Terrifying Dungeon Crawl

SO I had an early cancellation this morning, and lots of errands to do but like a wide spot between when I had to do stuff and pick up my kiddo, and then a wide spot of time before I start work in the evening. I'm a therapist. So I get these cancellations.

Anyway, I had some time so I went to the movies, and I saw "The Backrooms" by Kane Parsons or whatever - A24. It's surprisingly good and way way better than I expected. I have a hard time believing that a guy as young as he is could get away with the therapeutic nuance of the transference/countertransference relationship that is a key point of the end of the movie.

A couple of other things: Dr. Klein (one of the protagonists) has a nice analog synth on her desktop.

Also, the hand drawn map he makes is in dire need of a DnD session.

Anyways, worth a watch
